Installation of the drive connection

Note: If you are connecting by using the panel port, check the group 52 Panel

communication. If you are using the Embedded Modbus interface, check the group

53 EFB Protocol. Make sure that each drive has unique station ID and that the baud

rate and parity selections are the same for all drives and the SREA-01.

Note: When using RETA-01 or RETA-02, it must be configured to use Modbus TCP.

It can not be used to access the drive data if, for instance, Ethernet/IP is required in

the application.

Connecting to ACS800

When using ACS800, SREA-01 can be connected by using one of the following

drive option modules:

• RMBA-01 Modbus Adapter (RS-485),

• RETA-01 Ethernet Adapter (Modbus TCP),

• RETA-02 Ethernet Adapter (Modbus TCP).

Please note that you can connect RMBA-01 to the slot 2 of the ACS800 even though

there is another fieldbus module such as RPBA-01 Profibus Adapter connected to

the slot 1.

Note: Check the settings in group 52 STANDARD MODBUS. Make sure that each

drive has unique station number (52.01) and that the baud rate and parity selections

(52.02, 52.03) are the same for all drives and the SREA-01.

Note: When using RETA-01, it must be configured to use Modbus TCP. It can not be

used to access the drive data if, for instance, Ethernet/IP is required in the

application.
